Garden Boxes FAQ
How tall should a raised bed be?
Many vegetables do well in about 12 inches of soil. Taller beds, around 24 to 30 inches, are easier on knees and backs.
Can you add drip to raised beds?
Yes. We plumb drip into each box and connect it to a timer or your existing system.
How do I keep gophers out?
We lay hardware cloth across the bottom of each box before filling it.
Can you add hoops for frost protection?
Yes. Hoops with frost cloth help extend the season through late spring and early fall frosts.
