Irrigation & Water

Irrigation systems built for your water

Whether you're on city water, a district, your own well, an acequia, or rainwater, a new system should be designed around that source. We lay out zones by plant type, size everything to your pressure, and install it to last.

Questions

Irrigation Installation FAQ

Can you install irrigation that runs off a well?

Yes. We size the system to your well's flow and pressure so the pump doesn't short-cycle, and we lean on drip to stretch your water.

Do I need a backflow preventer?

Yes. A backflow device keeps irrigation water from flowing back into your drinking water, and it's typically required by code. We include it.

Should I put in drip or sprinklers?

Drip for trees, shrubs, beds and gardens. Spray only where you truly need it, like a small lawn. Most high-desert yards end up mostly drip.

Can a new system connect to rainwater catchment?

Yes. Drip zones can run off a cistern with a pump and filter.
