French drains that keep water moving
When water collects against a wall, soaks a low spot, or seeps where it shouldn't, a French drain gives it somewhere to go. We dig it, set it on the right slope, and send the water to a safe outlet.

French Drains FAQ
What is a French drain?
A trench filled with gravel and a perforated pipe, usually wrapped in filter fabric. It collects water and carries it underground to a safe place.
Where does the water go?
To a point lower on your property, such as a planted basin, swale or dry well. Never onto a neighbor's property or back toward the house.
Will a French drain fix water near my foundation?
It's often part of the fix, along with grading the soil away from the house and extending downspouts.
How long does a French drain last?
With filter fabric and the right slope, a well-built French drain can work for many years.
